Immersion Paintings
This series of paintings is part of an ongoing exploration of my relationship with nature.
Through painting, I engage with the landscape not as a passive observer, but as an active participant — immersing myself in its atmosphere, rhythms, and emotional tone.
Rather than simply depicting the natural world, I aim to convey what it feels like to inhabit it: the shifting light, textures, sounds, and the quiet dialogue between self and surroundings.
Working both in the studio and directly within the landscape, I allow environmental conditions — weather, terrain, mood — to guide my materials, gestures, and colour palette. This immersive approach enables me to translate a place’s presence into a more intuitive and emotional visual language.
These works reflect my desire to reconnect with the natural world, and to express the deep sense of interconnection and impermanence that arises through being in the land.
