Unsettled Ground - Portals Revisited
Picking up on some combining of processes which I initially began exploring in 2023 - see blog post 02/08/23 Hollows, Holes and Peering into Other Worlds... Upon revisiting this approach, I’ve created an image that evokes a sense of unease and environmental disruption. The unexpected, flesh-toned paint spilling from the hollow of the tree suggests an unnatural intrusion, starkly contrasting with the natural form.
