New Project - A Cornish Pasture (Walking the Land)

I documented my walk down to the river yesterday morning mark making with natural materials as I went. It was a really absorbing process connecting me with the landscape in a creative, experimental & physical way.

This is the first of a number of preparatory exercises on offer to prepare me for the Walking the Land summer school with Emily Ball Painting which begins in about three weeks time.

For this project I will be turning my attention away from A Cornish Hedgerow towards A Cornish Pasture & the daily walk I take down to the river by my house - cattle permitting! Yes that is cow dung in one of the photos which proves you can draw with just about anything!
